Hi, I'm Claire, your neurospicy course instructor :-)
I’ve started and run small businesses for almost 20 years. In that time, I’ve read business books, attended workshops, engaged coaches, joined business support networks, and more. All of these resources have one thing in common – they are targeted towards neurotypical business people.
I started Diverg Entrepreneur because I wanted to create business resources and offer both group and individual coaching that was specifically targeted to neurodivergent business owners. To create a safe, accepting, welcoming and respectful space for all neurotypes, genders, ethnicities, sexualities, and abilities.
What The Course Includes
8x Weekly zoom sessions covering course content (7 Topics + 1 revision/ integration session)
8x 1.5hrs each “Study Hall” zoom sessions - Students independently work on business tasks while on mute, checking in every half hour
2x Monthly “Problem Solving Sessions” current students bring questions and problems concerning their business and work through them with the group
1x Hour Long 1:1 session with Claire
What Will I Learn?
Week 1 - New Business Mindset
Create your own working environment and clarify what works for you.
Week 2 - Your Formula to Success
Define what success means for you and establish a plan to reach it in a neurodivergent friendly way.
Week 3 - The Business Creation Formula
Get clarity around your business & determine your mission statement. Look at a business plan structure.
Week 4 - Demystifying Business Setup
Break down the steps for setting up a new business and discover that it's not as overwhelming as it might have seemed at first.
Week 5 - Show Me The Money
Learn about ways of funding a business and understand how to track money using financial tools like balance sheets and cash flow forecasts.
Week 6 - Your Marketing Formula
Learn how to establish a marketing strategy for your business that works for you by examining current marketing strategies and their uses.
Week 7 - Overcoming Negativity
Gain insights about yourself and start to see yourself as the successful business person that you are.
Week 8 - Revision & Integration
Revision of the previous 7 weeks, with an opportunity to request specific areas to re-cover as time allows.
